Version 2026.03 — LAZ Coach
LAZ Coach ("we", "us") is a coaching practice operated under Laz.coach, a registered business name in the Province of Manitoba, Canada (Business Names Registration Act, Registry No. 10259853), founded by Hufrey Merveil La Zoube. Services are delivered 100% online via our secure virtual meeting platform; in-person sessions may be arranged by request, subject to availability.
1. Nature of coaching — important clarification
Coaching is a collaborative process intended to support your personal and professional development. LAZ Coach and its coaches are not licensed therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, financial advisors, or medical professionals. Coaching is not a substitute for professional therapy, psychiatric care, medical treatment, or licensed financial advice. We make no guarantee of specific outcomes.
2. Emergency protocol
LAZ Coach is not equipped to respond to emergencies or crises. If you are in crisis or danger, please contact emergency services (911) or a licensed professional immediately.
3. Confidentiality
We keep all personal information and matters discussed during coaching sessions confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to prevent harm to you or others.
4. Payment terms
- Single-session bookings are billed per session at time of booking.
- Subscription/term packages are prepaid and non-refundable once a billing month has begun.
- Payment for term packages is due at the start of each month; sessions may be suspended if payment is more than 7 days overdue, without shortening the overall term.
5. Cancellation & rescheduling
- Single sessions: reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice at no cost. Cancellations inside this window, or no-shows, are forfeited (counted as used, no refund or reschedule).
- Term packages (e.g. 3-month agreements): cancel with 30 days' written notice. Notice given mid-month does not cancel the current month — it takes effect the following month.
- Sessions not used within a given month do not carry over.
- A late fee of $1 CAD/minute applies to session delays caused by the client.
6. Session environment & conduct
You are responsible for maintaining a professional, substance-free, and quiet environment during sessions. A session where a client appears under the influence is voided without rescheduling.
7. Session recording
Some sessions may be recorded for internal coaching-quality feedback, with notice given to you in advance. Recordings are deleted within 30 days of the written feedback being prepared.
8. Discounts
Discounts (e.g. loyalty pricing, YLM Partnership discount) require verification and cannot be combined with other offers.
9. Dispute resolution & governing law
Disputes are first addressed directly between coach and client. Arbitration is the agreed alternative to formal legal proceedings. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba, Canada.
10. Limitation of liability
LAZ Coach makes no guarantee regarding outcomes and is not liable for client decisions or a client's failure to follow through on a coaching plan.
11. Acknowledgement
By clicking "I accept" or submitting a booking/application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms on the version date indicated. A record of your acceptance (timestamp, IP, version) is stored as evidence.
